Wadi Um Ishrin on the Silk Road (Valley of the Mother of Twenty), oil on canvas, 22" x 40", 2010

The Silk Road runs nearby this valley in the Wadi Rum Desert (Jordan), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Neolithic petroglyphs decorate many of the cliffs. Lawrence of Arabia operated here, and visitors are the guests of Bedouins. Giclee print available.

Nor'easter Comin In, oil on canvas, 18" x 28", 2023                    A coastal low arrives at Cape Cod, MA on December 16, 2022. The 40 mph winds out of the east, with gusts to 60, seemed to crush the 15 foot waves into foam. The blow was pepered with stinging rain, salt spray and sand.
